Keep a trusted reference
Export a snapshot before a loss. Store it separately from your backup. A replaced manifest can make changed files look correct.
Know the inspection boundary
Files stay in memory. Browser limit: 64 MiB per file, 256 MiB total. Folder selection may omit hidden entries or resolve links; use the CLI for explicit filesystem coverage. No files are repaired, deleted or uploaded.
